What is this place?
Oh, it's just a collection of articles about things I think are fun, useful or interesting in some way. Most of the stuff here is to do with various sorts of games - old and new, PC, Amiga, console or otherwise. I try to write about things that have been overlooked or underrated by others, because there isn't any fun in going over well-trodden turf.

Why?
Well... why not? :) I made this page for my own satisfaction, and if others find its contents entertaining then I'll be extra happy. Better than hanging around on street corners is what I say.

Who is this Prospero guy anyway?
My real name is Chris Allcock and I live in the south west of England, in the wonderful rural province of Devonshire. I'm 25 years old and have been addicted to computer games since I was about seven - and I can't see any point in breaking the habit yet!

Since you seem slightly interested - a fatal mistake! - my other aliases over the years have included Zolyx (in Unreal Tournament), Valiant (in Subspace) and Qu (in World of Warcraft). I'd include a photo of myself but, well, I'd prefer you actually carried on browsing the site rather than running away in terror.

It should be 'Internet', not 'Interweb', you newbie!
Hah! Be away with ye. I know what it should be well enough, but 'interweb' sounds so much cosier and friendlier, so that's why I chose to use it.
